Bonding pool - Run it back to the panel or just between them?

When bonding the pool, does the bonding wire need to go between the pool pump and heater only, or does it run back to the panel?

It should run all the way around the pool try and keep it like a foot off the wall. If there is any metal like the bottom rail you should try and hit that in four spots equally around the pool. It should also hit the heater pool water and pump motor. The water is done by a skimmer kit or a bonding nipple that goes inline with your intake hose. It doesn't go back to the panel.
