Hi I'm a new home owner in Long Island NY with an in-ground 20K gallon pool-Hayward sand filter. I am glad there are the types of forums where we can exchange ideas and knowledge! I was quite anxious and almost skipped on buying this house because it had a pool and and didn't want to deal with extra home issues. Oh well... I went with the house with the pool anyway
