    Thought I had it right... :(

    Hi all,
    So I have a party coming in a few hours and have a cloudy pool for the first time in 3 years. Never had a problem with anything before.

    FC 6
    CC 0
    CYA 50
    TA 100
    PH 7.5

    not sure what's going on

    OCLT last night had less than .5 loss. So confused!!

    Make sure your filter is back washed and bring up the chlorine close to shock level for your CYA is all you can do at this point.

    Is it safe to swim in? I know it's not if I bring the FC up that high

    As long as you do not exceed the SLAM level of "20" for your current CYA, it is safe to swim.

    Any idea what could be causing this? I've made sure to have at b least 4 Ppm of FC

    Not at this point. That is odd. Your numbers above look very good.

    Woke up this morning to find it as clear as ever. I brought the chlorine up to about 15 and left the pump on. Weird it cleared up so fast, but I'm not complaining. Thanks for the help.

    You probably didn't have enough chlorine.
    I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!
