Hi all,

I have a 4th of July party coming in 3 hours and opened the solar cover to see a cloudy pool. For the first time in 2 years! What's going on??? There is a slight green tint to the dirt on the bottom as I clean and brush.

CYA 50
PH 7.5
TA 100
OCLT from last night til l this morning is less than .5

Numbers are good and have been the same or similar all season what happened all the suddon? Ahhhh ?

Raise FC up to shock level for your CYA and brush, [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA].

You want to have a FC level above 10 in order for it to start killing off anything... achieve that and you will be on your way to a clear pool in no time.
as well as never leave your solar blanket on during the day youre creating a green house.
Solar covers are meant to keep the heat in not heat your pool.
