Hello. I am now filling my new pool and looking to learn the best way to maintain it. I have had one smaller AG pool with a small pump and had a great deal of difficulty maintaining water quality with heavy use. I am interested to learn of the best small scale vacuum and skimmer devices, as I am totally unfamiliar with these.

I can't help with the tools you need....not familiar enough.
I can tell you the VERY first thing you need to do is get a jug of Clorox in your pool and test your water and post your test results,
