Skimmer air in pump - Issues Fixed! Time for swim?

Re: Skimmer air in pump - Vacuum not running - New owner

Okay Update Time!

Pump has no more cavitation with either main drain or skimmer line.

When vacuum (mx-8 elite) is plugged in there is cavitation in the pump. I have a beachfront entrance and this thing keeps beaching itself. Will now have to see about returning it, selling it, or rigging a solution to not allow it to go up the ramp to the point it sucks air.

All the stuff I pulled out of the skimmer drain: http://i.imgur.com/x9GhoOP.jpg

Inside of intellichlor (that build up came out after hose rinse): http://i.imgur.com/RM1yQNC.jpg

It reads red: low salt, and I've never seen the "cell" light on yet?

I bought the TF-100 test kit with stirrer just awaiting shipping.

I took the water in for testing today and here are the numbers:

FAC 10
TAC 10
Salt 2000
CH 700
CYA 90
TA 110
pH 7.8
Copper 0
Iron 0
Phosphates 300

Is the water safe for swimming? Thank you again for the help.

Re: Skimmer air in pump - Vacuum not running - New owner

We had a nice surprise last night. We were able to see the firework show from our backyard. Kids did swim yesterday.

Going to wait to make any changes to the water with salt/chemicals until my kit arrives. I got the notification that is shipping today so I'd expect by Friday.
