Does anyone know of a device that will shut down the pump if the water level drops significantly? What I am worried about is one of the pipes opening up on my solar heating array and draining my fiberglass pool while we are all at work. Any ideas?
No, I haven't seen that particular thing. There are systems that shut down the pump if it loses prime, which it probably will if the water level falls below the skimmer.
