Balancing pool water

These are my test results from last night when I tested the water. I know I need to add more chlorine, which I will do once we are done swimming today. What else should I do? Is the total alkalinity high? I've read the information for how to lower TA and then raise the PH, but I can't find any concrete information on what TA should be. I am using the BBB method.

FC 1.6
PH 7.4
TA 145
CYA 45

Minimum FC for CYA=45 is 3.5 ppm, and target FC is 5.5, so 1.6 is a bit low. What's your CC?

TA seems slightly high, but it's okay to ignore for now. Just concentrate on FC. Your pH is good, and TA will find itself.

I like your accurate pool capacity; having it is really helpful.
