The motorized valve that turns my solar on and off developed a leak in the stem, I guess the o-ring goes bad over time. I wasnt really worried because it was a slow drip, over the course of a year it increased to a more rapid drip. Other than being annoying I wasnt worried much but then on Monday the valve stopped working. Today when I took it apart I found that the water had mad it way up into the motor and its now shot. I wish I replaced the oring before this occured.
Solar actuator gone bad.

Uh Oh .. mine has been leaking a lot recently too. Guess I should do something about it while it is just seals and not the entire actuator.
