Picked up an additional "debris pump" 1.5 hp, how much suction should i be feeling?
Picked up a Harris H1572730 ProForce 1.5 HP pump as an external vegetation pump, to pick up the heavy stuff and bypass my filter. I was following this tutorial on youtube:

I attached my old hose to the intake and a vinyl hose to the outake, primed it, and then it sucked out the primed water, but filled it with just air. I took off the input hose and put my hand on the adapter and felt a very small suction, it should pull on my hand quite hard right?
