What to do?

I noticed this afternoon a very small faint spot of algae in the to corner of my pool.
I scanned the entire pool for any other algae shananigans and found nothing. I tested FC at
6.5. I dosed the pool and brushed heavily. After a hour I retested and FC is at 9.
my question is do I need to slam? My cc is 0. Maybe do a OCLT?

Definite OCLT.

OCLT. If you lose more than 1 ppm, then slam it.

Should only take a day or so to clear it all up.
