Hello All,
I am new to pool ownership as the house I bought has one and I have decided to try to maintain it. I have been to Leslie Pool(LP) and I feel like they are feeding me nothing but BS, most times. I have added liquid Chlorine and a Shock packet...that got the water crystal clear BUT the PH levels are off. I took a sample to LP and told them that there was Algae growing in my pool, they said I needed Sodium Ash...I bought it...added it and left for the weekend, I turned the pump off because it seemed to be pumping slowly. I got back last night...IT WAS GREEN! I am felt defeated and this morning I added another bottle of Liquid Chlorine, a shock packet and left for work with the pump on.
I need to buy some supplies for this pool but LP is EXPENSIVE...I've been going to Ollie's...can you HELP ME?
What should I buy?
Where should I buy test kits from?
I'm really trying...
