New pool. Very high TA. Added muriatic acid. Cloudy lime green. Help!

That's a giant jump in TA, and the pH is suspect.

How much MA did you add and is your pH reading from before or after adding the MA?
What is your pH right now?
What test kit are you using for your numbers?

Ah... we rarely trust strips as they're too subjective and only give "range" estimates. We prefer a test kit that gives a concrete number- either the TF-100 or the Taylor's K-2006 (no other number).

We need to know the following:
FC
CC
pH
TA
CYA

Since your water is cloudy, something is in there that needs to be fixed. Did you add chlorine as soon as it was filled? What chemicals have you added? Do you fill from a well??

Welcome to TFP  Can you add the gallons to your signature ??

Will need more accurate test results which you'll get from the "drop" kit. What did you use for "shock" ??
If you're going to try and use the TFP method of maintaining your pool you'll want to stay away from algacide. There are other things in some of the algacides that just do go well with maintaining a clear, clean pool. See - - > Pool School - Defeating Algae

Shock as soon as filled right away and algaecide. City h20

Welcome to TFP.
The methods proposed on the site are essentially the opposite of what's you've done so far. We don't recommend just dumping in shock, and algaecide is unnecessary except in rare circumstances. IF the algaecide has copper, that can contribute to making the water green, though that's a "clear green".

Get the recommended test kit so you can really understand what is happening, and then we'll add only what is needed to address the issues.
Ongoing maintenance of your pool, once cleared, will be very easy.
