    Pool Pump Timers...

    I recently purchased this...

Intermatic P1131 Portable 20 Amp Outdoor Timer Heavy-Duty Outdoor Timer

I guess I should have paid more attention but I just figured a twist lock was a twict lock? It arrived and I was excited to install it, fairly simple. One problem, my twist lock is smaller than the one I ordered.

I'm going to install this one

Woods 59101R Outdoor 120-Volt 40-Amp 24-Hour SPST Mechanical Time Switch with Metal Box - Wall Timer Switches - Amazon.com

You do have to know a little bit about electricity. I'll wire it so it controls a duplex receptacle so that it turns off the pool pump and the SWG.

If it were me I'd just replace the male plug with one that fits the receptacle.

I might consider that except the female end on the timer doesn't fit my current twist lock plug either...

This is the one I have installed for my pump. It is pretty straight forward. I have not had any problems with this model for any application I have ever used it on.
