It took me a while to get my pump running this summer, and I ended up with algae in the pool. It looks like the green algae is gone, but I can still tell my water is cloudy and I'm losing chlorine quite a bit faster than usual, so I think there is likely still some in there, eating up the chlorine. I tested my water (TFT test kit) this evening, and have gotten my pH levels up to 7.5. However, I'm not 100% sure what my next step is, because I noticed my TA and CH are both low, in addition to the chlorine. Which should I work on next? Or does CH matter as much for an above ground pool with a vinyl liner?
ph = 7.5
FC = 1
CC = .5
TC = 1.5
TA = 90
CH = 120
CYA = 45
My pool is a 24' above ground pool, so 13500 gallons.
Thanks
