I acquired a used Hayward H100ID heater. After hooking it up there is a loud banging noise coming from the heat exchanger area. I have read some post which mention a spring which is epoxied to the main tube where the water diverter is. I have removed the heat exchanger and took a picture of the inside. Can someone please tell me what is missing. If you have a picture of a working exchanger could you please post it to aid me with my repair. All help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
