High side spec for FC in SWG pool

In looking at the reference guide in Pool School for cya/FC levels, it just shows the min required FC and the Target. What would be the max recommended FC levels for a cya of 70 and 80. In other words, how high is too high for continuous daily levels.

You can safely swim at shock level, so you could say that's the "max", though its unecessary to maintain that level. Just shoot for "target" level and you'll be fine.

As others have said between the high side of recommended and Shock level is still a safe range. You could swim at that level but if you kept it that high all the time you would go through pool toys, bathing suits, and perhaps even equipment faster than normal. Anything north of the recommended level can dry skin and could lead to skin flaking or cracking with prolonged exposure as the excess chlorine attacks the oils in your skin. That's the biggest health risk I am aware of but in my opinion it's enough of a reason to stay in range. Possible exceptions being boosting for a vacation, unexpected contamination (kid did not make it to the bathroom :puker: ), or a slight increase for high bather load.
