Start Up CYA confusion

I am just getting my first readings using the TF-100. Water is a bit cloudy. Per pool math I added 20oz of 8.3% bleach at 9am. Added 56oz of liquid stabilizer about noon. My CYA test is giving me a 0 reading taken shortly after adding the liquid stabilizer. Is there a proper time to add liquid stabilizer after adding chlorine? Is there an optimal time to test CYA after adding stabilizer?

ASSUME what you added is in there and keep your FC levle mainatained for that level. Mya be next day before that registers even with liquid. Welcome.

Stabilizer takes a little while to show up on the test. Wait a day or 2 and retest it.
In the meantime, just consider that you have x amount in the pool and you'll be fine.
