Yes, that's very low. Looks like a drain is needed too.

What PAGirl said. How is the FC 43? Already start a SLAM? Ph should have been adjusted first for future reference.

You don't say how big the pool is, but a 50% drain would appear to be your first step.

I would drain half the pool and refill. It will solve the VERY high CYA problem and probably get the pH closer to 7.2 - 7.8

How did you measure 6.5 pH

If you have added water, you will need to do another 50% drain.
*if they have a SWG ~ you would want to be in the 70's or 80's I think for CYA. You didn't mention that. If there is no system you will want that CYA lower to be manageable, especially knowing you need to SLAM it.
