Mysterious spots

Anyone know what these spots might be? I have tried scrubbing them with a brush and they will not go. I spoke with my local pool store and they thought it might be from metals (but water tested 0 metals in water) so i purchased some metal magic and scrubbed them again without any change. Thoughts?

Are they slimy? Can you pick it off with your finger nail and scrap on a piece of paper?

They aren't slimy. I have rubbed them with a fingertip and nothing changes. I haven't really tried to pick them off. I don't think there is anything to get a hold of to pull them off.

I did too and i had my water check and they didn't find any algae in it. I'm not sure how sensitive their tests are though. Plus, I've never had any trouble with algae before.

You can not have your water checked for algae if the algae is clinging to the pool
