pH drifting upwards - is it polyquad?

I haven't opened yet (Tuesday is the day) and meanwhile I keep FC and circulation using sub pumps at 3000 gph.
Initial numbers:
CYA 8
FC 1
CC < 0.5
0< Ammonia <0.25
Alk 90.

I also added some 60% polyquad. Before I added the alagaecide pH was steady at 7.3 - 7.4, but after that it drifted to 7.7-7.8. Is this a coincidence?
We've also had some rain but rain here is acidic.

not sure if it is the poly, but it could be the rain...although your rain water may be on the acidic side, it is a very good source of aeration which could raise your PH.
