    Swim while Slamming?

How long do I need to wait before letting the kids back into the pool during/after slamming?

Any time your FC is less than the shock level indicated on the Chlorine/CYA chart, it's safe to swim.

    Other considerations for safe swimming:
Water must be clear so you can see the entire bottom of the pool, for safety.
CC level should be 0.5 ppm or less to confirm a clean pool and less chance for skin/eye irritation.
pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8

Ideally you do not try to do both at the same time. Swimming slows the SLAM.

Just remember you will not melt as soon as the FC is above shock level
