is this algae?

this is very hard to get off my liner dont want to scrub to hard liner is old. how to clear it up vaccum brush dont pick it up.
is it a stain havent been in pool yet to try and clean it off.

Do you have any chlorine tablet handy?

Have you tested the water? If so what are your readings and what did you test with?

i have tabs handy. in floater in pool. i test with electric test strips readings are all good. water is lil cloudy also

You can hold the puck on the stain for a minute to see if it lifts it. If it does, it's organic and a SLAM Is needed. I'm not familiar with the electronic strip tester. Have you read Pool School?

If your water is cloudy, you might want to do a SLAM before you go green. You'll need to be able to measure elevated chlorine levels.
