Results from first test, exciting!!!

First I had to raise my pH to 7.2.
my initial results:
basic test:
Cl-2
pH-7.2
T100 test:
FC-2.5
CC-1
TC-3.5
CH-25
TA-50
CYA-40

I have been adding bleach but would like to add my salt. Do I need to adjust anything beforehand?
I'm still learning to navigate this site and any and all help is appreciated.

What does your water look like?

Clear.

With Clear water, your numbers do not indicate any need to SLAM.

However, I do think you should elevate your chlorine above normal to make sure you get your CC reading to .5 ppm or lower. (I would Bring FC up to around 8 ppm and hold in there for a day or so and then recheck CC.

You are a bit low on FC and need to keep it 3-5 ppm daily with your CYA of 40 ppm.

No reason to hold off on the salt......add it.
