I turned pump off for 1 min., now it won't turn back on!!!

The switch located on the white board that is actuated by the governor (device with springs). If you did that already, then there may not be any hope for the motor.

The only way to know for sure is with an ohm meter to see if start winding in open or has continuity

First see if the shaft will turn by hand. I had that problem one time when I was cleaning the basket. I turned it off for a minute and it froze. Make sure the power is OFF before trying this. I got a pair of pliers/channellocks and turned the shaft by hand. IT restarted and is fine ever since. Do you hear an electrical hum? That would indicate a locked rotor. Try this first!
