Hello Sweetbug33 and welcome to TFP! In an effort to help, we'll need a little more info:
    - Is the pump strainer basket (clear lid) full of water?
    - Is water flowing out of the return jet(s) strong or does that also feel low?
    - Is the water level in your pool at the correct height if you have a skimmer weir?
    - When you turn-off the pump, does the gauge go back to zero?
    - We need to know what type of pool and equipment you have. Please update your profile signature with your info. That will help tremendously.

Nice to have you with us.
