My above ground pool overnight lost about 8 inches of water - it was below the skimmer in the morning. The water does not seem to be going any lower than the skimmer, so I assume I should replace the skimmer. One question - where does the water go when it is leaking. The outside top shell of the pool was dry. Does it leak internally and then come out the bottom of the pool onto the ground. that is where all the water was, yet the outside shell was dry.
