I recently had to patch my liner (w/ Boxer and vinyl) and the ends seem to keep being loose after curing (I've patched the edges of the patches to fix this but the ends of the patches seem to always be a little loose). Should I trim these off with a scissors or try and patch them down with other patches?

I only ask because I'm worried about my vacuum (Dolphin Nautilus) pulling at the loose end and further tearing the liner. Is this something I actually need to worry about or can I just run my vacuum and not worry about that loose part (it's about 1.5 in. x 4 in. and semicircular because of the rounded corners). I really need to run my vac and wanted to check first.

Thanks!
