Tired of Skimmer Line Clogs

The volume of pine needles that fall into our pool clogs up the skimmer vacuum line quickly. I'm looking for a leaf canister that fits a manual vacuum line. Anyone know what those may be called? All I'm finding are canisters for automatic cleaners...
 
You may be able to use the ones for automatic suction cleaners. You would have to check your present vac hose end size and also buy one length (about 3 feet long) of auto cleaner hose. If the vac hose doesn't easily fit the canister, there may be an adapter to help make the connection.

Your vac hose plugs into one end of the leaf canister. The 3' hose connects to the other end of the leaf canister and plugs into you vac suction port or skimmer.

Something similar to the Hayward W530 just may be the ticket.
