We had our pool installed in August of 2013 and two years later in August of 2015 we realized we were losing water. 25 small holes and slices were found in the liner. The dive guy said it was probably caused by the friction of the robot vacuum going over the small stones under the liner and the slices he wasn't sure but they were in the corners so maybe from brushing. We have never brushed our pool, we have only ever used the robot vacuum.
When they first installed we found a couple rocks under the liner of the swim out. They came back out and removed them. We also found a couple on the stairs but haven't removed them yet because we would have to drain so much water. Now we have so many small holes and 25 patches on our not even three year old pool. Our installer said he will split the cost of the liner and do the install....so we would need to pay about $1000 for the liner plus the cost to refill the pool which is about $800. We have already paid $350 to have the patches put on. Feeling really frustrated and want to know if anyone has a concrete base and know what the expectation is from an installer.
