My first few weeks of opening above ground pool are a nightmare. Caterpillar droppings and black seeds from trees are staining vinyl liner everywhere. Shocking/ vacuuming/scrubbing did not work. Even tried Magic erasers...faded some but now too many stains to consider. Ideas??

Sounds like you have a few variables there, but to really answer your questions, we'll need a good set of water test results. If you aren't testing your own water, we recommend that to be your first priority by using either the TF-100 (link below) or Taylor K-2006 test kit. That's really where it all starts. Results from either test kit will help us determine the best course of action for you, and also ensure you have 100% control of your water and what goes in it. Along with those test results, you can upload a pic or two and that may help as well. Great to have you with us.
