Increasing ph

how do I increase PH without alkalinity? Is my calcium hardness ok?

When I did my base deman test it took 4 drops and Taylor kit says add soda ash 3.lb for 20thousand gallon ..
I have 35g vinyl ingrown pool with sand filter..

I would either aerate a bit to raise PH or just wait a few days to see if it rises on its own from the high TA.

Yes, your CH is fine for a vinyl pool.

If you want to raise it right now you could use 20 mule team borax and it will have a very minor affect on your TA.

If it was my pool, I would take pooldv's advice and leave it alone. You can also aerate and your pH will come up and TA will go down.
