New member: first time using Taylor K-2006

While I've been waiting for my new kit to get here, I've been putting about a half of jug of bleach every night. It didn't seem to be holding FC overnight very well.
Well, now I have my kit and if I did it right (the videos ARE very helpful, I must say) These are my readings:
FC 3.8
CC 0
PH 7.8
TA 160
CH 180
CYA filled to the top, spot was cloudy, but I could still see it. So not sure what to say my reading is.

When the pool pump is on, it seems sparkly and clear. But when the water isn't it moving, it looks dull (but still clear).
How am I doing?

Welcome. Ta is about double what it should be and can be lowered by lowering you PH-aerating your water to make it rise---then repeating, which will lower TA. You CYA sounds like it is less than 20. Add enough to take it to 30 or so for a more accurate reading.

In the last two days I've added muriatic acid and stabilizer. My readings are now:
FC 2.6
CC 0 (had a tinge of pink)
PH 7.8
TA 150
CH 170
CYA 30
Should I try to lower the TA more?
