    Rusty skimmers; in-ground. Screws?

    There is rust in the skimmer inlets for my inground pool, it seems to be concentrated where the screws are:

    How can I manage this situation? I am worried that something is wrong with my chemistry. The other one is even worse:

    Replace the plastic faceplate with a new one, then, replace the screws with 316 stainless.
