    New Pool Owner

I just would like to say that I have learned a lot from this site. I bought a house in January and with it came a 33k IG swamp. I have never had a pool, but I have turned the swamp into an almost clear pool thanks to all of you here. I still have yet to pass an over night test. My pump died today. I will be getting a new one installed on Monday and with the cooler temps here in NH, hope to not lose any of my progress so far. I appreciate all of your time and dedication to keeping this site such a valuable tool to pool owners like me.

    Welcome!

Don't lose momentum! Maintain at least the minimum FC for your CYA during the down time by adding bleach and brushing thoroughly to get it all mixed in.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
