Need 15 (FC) but kit only goes to 10- Am I doing something wrong?

I’m converting from Baquacil and the instructions stateto set target FC goal of 15 and test frequently bumping that number back up to15.

However, I have the Taylor K-2005 kit and it only goes to10??? I’m confused because how can I know if it’s at 15ppm?

Here are the directions to convert from Baquacil where itstates 15 FC Pool School - Convert Your Baqua Pool to Chlorine

The instructions state:
1. Rinse and fill small comparator tube to 9 mLmark with water to be tested
2. Add 5 drops R-0001 and 5 drops R00002. Cap andinvert to mix
3. Match color with color standard. Record as partsper million (ppm) free chlorine (FC)

The K-2005 is a DPD Chlorine test and as you have discovered only goes to 10 ppm.

You need a FAS-DPD Chlorine test like this one at TFTestkits.net

Ahhh. that's not good. Do local pool stores usually carry FAS-DPD ones? I called Leslies and they said no

You might be able to find one locally at a commercial pool store
