The pool and I are no longer friends

I have a lot of FC loss during the day. I decided to still keep at SLAM level of 20 today.

6:30am: 21
9am: 20.5
12:30pm: 17.5 --> added 26oz 10% bleach as per pool math calc.
3:30pm: 15 (yikes!) --> added 53oz as per calc.

Any ideas?

I think, it's said you will lose about 30% off FC from UV burn off first day coming off of a slam. So, I would think you'd come down somewhere between 5-10 ppm today with a lot of sun. That's totally a guess tho based on something I've read before.

That's exactly what happened for me.

It's worrisome to see such a drop when you've put in heart and soul and around the clock care to keep it up for a week. Ha ha, I'll let it go tomorrow. Maybe. I'm afraid.

I think you're going an extra day, and there's no harm at all in doing so!! I know Kim will agree. It is just so good to know that algae is annihilated!

I added one last dose, let it run for 45min and finally shut off the filter to give it a break. Maybe will dive in tomorrow

Haha, yep I can't hear any algae gasping for it's last breath anymore. A sound that's good to hear, but even better when it's gone.

Can we see this pretty pool of yours? We love seeing the sparkly clear blue! Trust me I am one of those swamps to sparkly stories, I love seeing the progress pool owners make!
