Does anyone add stabilizer on a regular basis if getting a lot of rain fall, say an inch or too within a week. Last season i got to knowing what to add for PH changes due to rain and anticipated the addition of chemicals, this is the first year I keeping track of CYA levels.

Even if it rained 5 inches and you drained before the fact in anticipation, it wouldn't do much as far as CYA. Rain doesn't have nearly the impact most people think it does on a pool.
Figure an average depth of 48" ... if you got 1" of rain and then pumped out 1", the CYA would drop by only 2%
