Pump leaks at housing after replacing seals and gaskets when priming before starting.

I had a slow leak coming from under the housing of my Heyward pump. I had the seal replaced and bought and installed new gaskets. When I filled the sump to prime the unit before starting, water poured out from underneath the pump. I have removed the motor, checked gaskets, etc, and reinstalled several times, but the problem persists. I have closely inspected the housing and can find no cracks or holes in it.

The pool company I (used to) use plays dumb and offers no help. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any and all would be appreciated. -HHM-
