I Decided To Build A Deck

We moved in last year and thought the 2 doors along with 2 sets of steps were not very useful. Step 1 tear down those steps. Since they were poorly constructed this took about 5 minutes.

Broke ground in late January.

Started the build a week after the Superbowl.

So far so good! Perfect spot for a deck! Go Saints!

Lost a week in late February to go on a bachelor cruise with my step-son.

My better half told me she wanted the decking on the diagonal.

That's my trusty assistant in the background.

Of course we needed rails.

Indeed! That hot tub is going to be great. We love ours.

Thanks. The hardest part for me was the stringers. I watched several youtubes and read several "how to's" before I made a single cut.
