Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the great advice to keep my little pool sparkling nicer than any of my neighbors!

    Re: Thanks

Why? You did all the work.

And you took the plunge and bought a TF100.

Now that it's under control, it'll look like that for as long as you want it to. Your kids will become pool snobs, too, and refuse to get into other peoples' murky ponds.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!

Ha, it's funny you say that. My neighbor down the street had a kids birthday party and his pool was all cloudy. My six year old says "it's not as clean as ours". I tried to tell him what I had learned here and it went in one ear and out the other.
I really look forward to getting home from work so I can "work" on the pool. I've already caught pool fever and find myself looking at inground pools and financing.......
