pumping options

Has anyone tried to use a diaphragm pump such as surflo's 8000-033-236 for injecting chlorine? The biggest issue I see is that they may pump too much, too fast. The lowest flow I have found is around 1GPM. A pump such as this would pump all I would need daily in 10-30 seconds or so. Has anyone experimented with this type at all?

you could use a flow restrictor to slow down the flow into the pool. It will create more back pressure on the pump. You could just use a needle valve to slow the flow down and have a tee between the pump and valve where the excess flow gets pumped back to the storage tank.
