Hi, I added total of 4 lbs Clorox Stabilizer last Saturday n Sunday. Still reading 0. Added via sock method. My #'s r below. Chlorine is high because I added 1 gallon of 8.25% bleach last night.

The low pH has nothing to do with your FC level.

4 pounds should add 27ppm of CYA to your pool. What are you testing with? Is the dot obscured at all or is the mixture still crystal clear?

The TH you report looks like it is from test strips. They are totally unreliable as you seem to have discovered. You really need one of the two kits we suggest to manage your pool successfully. The strips are tempting but they are bogus.
