solar cover reel

Hello,i am new to this forum and it has been very helpful so far. This is our second year as new pool owners and so far so good.We have an 18' x 33' above ground pool with a deck on one end and vinyl safety fence around the top rail.
When we first got started we used the solar cover up until mid summer and then just got tired of struggling with it.The temperature of the pool dropped and we started using it again usually just pushing it against one end.I am convinced we need to use a reel so i ordered one.The problem is how to modify it so we can still have the safety fence.Being somewhat handy i started looking at things and i am puzzled as how to do this.Seems like at least the fence at the far end needs to be modified somehow.I ordered the deluxe reel that will swivel on one end if needed.I am also thinking i should have ordered a longer reel(i got the 18') so it would extend the crank out beyond the fence.
The fence does have some up and down adjustment as i think the reel will be lined up with the bottom fence rail and in the way.If anyone has an idea or suggestion for me i thank you.

To post pictures you can upload them to a photo hosting site such as Photobucket( http://www.photobucket.com ) then copy and paste the Image Code here.
Code:

That is what the code will look like when you are in the post typing box, except instead of my code between the tags, your code will be there.

This is the code you should copy for the picture. That is where it's located on Photobucket.
