How do I work my heater?

We have a new install (started in November, still not quite done). The pool is up and running although the SWG still does not work. We have a Sta Rite heater that has a button to heat pool only or spa only. We have figured out that if we put it in spa only mode and turn on the waterfall feature we get hot water through the returns in the spa. However when we put it in pool only mode we do not get hot water in the pool returns. Any advice?

Sorry about the slow response.

I think we need more pictures to understand the plumbing routing.

Are you sure the heater is turning on when in Pool Mode?

No worries. We turned the spillover off and hot water started coming out of the pool returns.
