This is the first year I decided to maintain my pool after 3 years in our house. I have 3 stains that the pool guy said was from plaster wear and rebar stain. He said the only way to get rid of them was to replaster the whole pool that would cost around $10k. I think the pool is around 25 years old.
The second picture is where he says it is plaster wear and the third picture is where he says it is a rebar stain.
I wanted to get everyone's thoughts based on the pictures if you would waste the time trying to remove the stains (not sure how you remove plaster wear) with vitamin-c tablets or muriatic acid?
