It's going to depend on splash out and refill with your high TA fill water.
If rain brought it down as significantly from your earlier post, I'd buy a gallon/two. MA doesn't deteriorate like bleach.
I've chosen not to aerate purposefully. Instead I just track the pH and whenever it exceeds 7.8 I bring it down to 7.0-7.2 using Pool Math. I've been at it 3 weeks and put my 5th gallon of MA in today. My TA started at 400+ (gave up as I figured I was just wasting reagent. Before this 5th gallon I was already down to TA 250. I am using a SWG so I know that is aerating my water. I can see many little bubbles from my returns when it runs. My pH is already rising more slowly. The first 2 gallons went in just 1 day apart. This time it was over a week to go from 7.2 to 8.0.
I need to test my personal well water to see if this problem will be recurring or if it was just initially from the truck water.
