Little Help Rebuilding Hawyard Key Seal Diverter Assembly

First, make sure that the orientation is correct. Then bevel the end of the pin a little to help it go in. Lube up the stem orings with silicone lube. Get someone to push down on the lid while you insert the pin. Put the non crimped end of the pin in the vs the crimped end.

Are you trying to do this on the valve or off the valve?

Was trying to do it off the valve, but, I took your advice and went up the street to grab a buddy who helped me have it in place in less than 5 minutes.
