Pool lighting,Laminar stream

Hi,am a new member living at the bottom of South Island,New Zealand and wanting information as to how to add LED lighting to a Laminar steam fountain
What wattage do I need to light-up full length of stream of around 15 feet? is fibre optic better than submersible LED?

I don't know the electrical rules in NZ.

So fiber optic is always safer because there is no electricity near the pool.

The submersible LED is just that submersible. It is not rated for use in a pool. I have found no waterproof LED that is listed or certified.

SO none of those LED ribbons are legal to use in a pool in the USA. But I do not know the rules in NZ.
