Intex plunger valve leaking

I bought the attached file last year and when we hooked up our pool I noticed it's leaking where the screw is..I unscrewed it and it looks like a hair line crack..do I replace it with the same kind of get a different one

Is this common? I have only had them for 1 summer ..hate for it to happen again

I have had them on the same pool for 2 years before with no problems, They would have been on there longer but we moved to a larger pool
